Anna Bussey will choreograph a ballet on the BTEC performing arts students with Ibuka dancers. The lead female dancer from the BTEC program, Remotse will perform on pointe in the quintet, set to Dvorák’s Rondo in G minor Op 94, played by Sheku Kanneh-Mason
26 September, Bonfire Night @ Braeburn International School Ibuka BTEC Performing Arts Diploma graduates will be showcasing their piece built of and with live improvisation techniques which will be evaluated as their performance for the term.
Goethe Institut Choreographic Residency, Dar es Salaam 12 August - 23 September 2018 Ibuka Co-Director & resident choreographer Brian Oloo is off to Dar es Salaam to further fine tune his skills in a choreographic 1 month intensive with Johannes Wieland from Germany brought by the Goethe Institut Dar. The new creation was première in Time2Dance festival 19-22 September 2018.
